Enzo Il desiderio di conoscenza, di miglioramento o evoluzione, la ricerca od il lavoro su di sé, conducono a varie strade. Alcuni scelgono di affidarsi a scuole, maestri, guru, cui dedicare talvolta la propria fede, talaltra la propria creduloneria. Per alcuni si tratta di difendere dogmi e fazioni a spada tratta, ritenendo spesso importante solo quanto conoscono, per troppi di trovare comodi e superficiali sogni new age. Molti sanno solo ripetere a memoria qualcosa detto da altri, troppi, saccenti, cercano polemica ed elargiscono offese come si usa nel tifo da stadio.
Alcuni infine sono dei “viaggiatori”. Essi sono interessati alla conoscenza che possono concretamente applicare al viaggio; si differenziano nettamente dai sognatori poiché i primi il viaggio lo intraprendono realmente, intenzionalmente, nella vita, i secondi si limitano ad immaginarlo. Un viaggiatore inoltre non “delega” la diretta comprensione ad altri giacché questo non potrebbe servirgli nel viaggio, che deve compiere personalmente. Egli non può portare con sé né ingombranti certezze (dogmi, fazioni, scuole) né superficiali comodità (sogni, fantasticherie, banalità new-age), poiché ciò gli intralcerebbe il cammino: deve scegliere dal suo bagaglio solo quanto mostra di funzionare nel percorso, rinnegando la proiezione dei pregiudizi suoi o altrui.
Un viaggiatore non cerca quindi schools or teachers. Sometimes he meets and welcomes most experienced guides in that particular stretch, returning with pleasure what he learned on other parts, do not forget that having a guide can provide you with information but never fail to cover himself with the sudden presence and critical thinking. I clarify in the present, to have drawn inspiration from the beautiful metaphor offered by Daumal in Mount Analogue. I am interested in a long time research on him from many perspectives, and particularly reflected in my travel, I found the thought of Gurdjieff, particularly with those reported by Ouspensky. I think this system especially worthy of the basic indication of what not to believe anything until you have personally shown occurred. I am wary of the risks of "proxies" and I guarantee this in mind the need to avoid the "sleep of reason produces monsters" as well as comply with my nature of "traveler".
I write to find travel companions. The company is not easy because this role requires many prerequisites unfortunately very rare. Are not appropriate, as well as those who have never even developed an interest in a search, even all the gullible, the dogmatists, the factious, the superficial new-ager, comfortable dreamers. Nor the liars, the sage, the polemical, the diffident, the timid, the lazy, the "first women", the simulators. "Travel", outside of synthetic tours, offers wonder and intensity, energy and pleasure: And yet sometimes shows pitfalls and dangers that require travelers to be able to rely on mutual loyalty, sincerity and trust of his companion, features made impossible by the proliferation of free defects listed above.
I also believe that a travel plan should look into your eyes over a cup of coffee - does not offer opportunities as well as a keyboard, as it is useful for many other aspects, including the possibility of this communication.
