PALERMO, March 7, 2011 (Siciliae) - Wednesday, March 9, at 10 in Palermo , Villa Malfitano, the Regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Elio D'Antrassi, in collaboration with the ARAS (Regional Association breeders of Sicily), organized the presentation of two new goat cheese, the "Soft di Sicilia" fresh and spreadable, and the "Ten 10. Praise," slices of milk 100% Sicilian (short-maturing, parallelepiped), which are both versatile and innovative in their use.
The event will also be an opportunity to launch the "Piacentinu Enna" recognized as a PDO on February 14, a compact, pressed cheese, made with whole sheep's milk, raw natural acidity of the fermentation product from the native breeds of sheep Sicilian Comisana, Pinzirita, Valle del Belice and their races.
